FAST2N Version 1.3, (C) HITMEN PLAYSTATION DIVISION 1998

Depending on the type of PSX you have, see the following chapters:

METHOD 1:

Describes the serial upload using the YAROZE CIP bypass method.
(Unchipped Yaroze, chipped Yaroze, chipped cosumer model with cracked Yaroze
Boot CD)

METHOD 2:

Describes the serial upload using a special CD you have to create before.
(Chipped Yaroze, chipped consumer model)

Always remember that a chipped consumer model using the cracked Yaroze Boot
CD is EXACTLY the same as a chipped Yaroze. So if you have your machine
chipped, you should always refer to Chapter 2 due to the fact that it's
much easier to handle.

METHOD 1
==========

Problem: Yaroze SIOCONS/CIP will not allow you to upload programms below
80090000, since the CIP and LIBPS.EXE take away most of the
lower memory. This program is a workaround. It will allow
YAROZE users to upload & execute programs from 80010000 to
801e0000. This beta version's receive routine is located
at 801e0000 at the moment, later versions will offer the FULL
range from 80010000 to 801ffff0 (whenever i find the time).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Insert Yaroze Boot Cd and reset Yaroze, run SIOCONS as usual.
2. Press F4 ('formated file download') to load PSXPAL.EXE or PSXNTSC.EXE.
3. Type GO on SIOCONS
4. WAIT till Yaroze screen is reset and CIP is demounted.
"WAITING FOR PC" will be displayed on the PSX screen.
5. Press ESC, and type SEND <filename.ext> <portadress> at the command
prompt. Portadress is the adress of the COM port you are using (infact
you should set the same adress here that you use for SIOCONS).
The program will be uploaded and executed automatically.

METHOD 2
=========

You first have to burn one of the CD's (either PAL or NTSC) that contain
the receive program (either PSXPAL.EXE or PSXNTSC.EXE). However, i have been
using CDRWIN to image the CD's,so you should use CDRWIN to burn them back.

1. Insert the CD you burned and reset PSX.
2. Wait till the screen is reset. "WAITING FOR PC" will be displayed on the
   PSX screen.
3. Type SEND <filename.exe> <portadress> at the command prompt. Portadress
is the adress of the COM port you are using (refer to MSD.EXE if you don't
   know your COM port adresses. Usually COM1 = 03f8, COM2 = 02f8).
The program will be uploaded and executed automatically.

WARNING: Due to the known reasons, some of the PSX exefiles on the net
have a corrupt file header. I tested it with various programs
that have correct headers and it works 100% e.g. with :
         1. Mother Preview
         2. Dentro
         3. Trancetro
         (all available at http://hitmen-psx.ml.org).

This version of SEND serial doesnt contain error correction or handshaking,
however, it NEVER failed to operate correctly. Remarks, criticism, anything
to jihad@hitmen-psx.ml.org
