EZ-O-Ray ROM Reflash Tool
-------------------------
This is a very useful CD, especially when trying to make your own Game Shark
ROM replacement, because it can reflash your GS's ROM even when your system
won't boot with the GS in.

You DON'T need this if your AR isn't crashed!

What you need
-------------
- Game Shark (aka Action Replay)
- PC Comm Link
- EZ.EXE, ACTION.EXE (from Datel), or PSUPDATE.COM
- A PlayStation with a mod chip installed in it
- Access to a CD-R burner and software (DAO/CDRWIN works best)
- One blank CD-R disk (CD-RWs won't work)

How to use
----------
Using this is pretty simple. Burn the enclosed ISO onto a CD-R using DAO or
CDRWIN. Others will work but success not guaranteed. If you don't know how
to do this, why do you have a CD-R? :) Yes, you'll have to waste a CD-R to
do this. But think of it this way: CD-R: $3 New Game Shark: $40. Any
questions?

Now stick the CD into your PlayStation and boot it up. It should come up
with some green text saying stuff about "waiting for PC". Now, with comm
link attached, do the appropriate reflash command of the software you are
using. For EZ-O-Ray, do ez flash. For original Datel software, do action u.
I don't know what to do for psupdate. Chances are you know already :)

What if my PlayStation won't boot with the Game Shark attached?
---------------------------------------------------------------
If you have this problem, it may be difficult to fix the problem. The best
thing I can tell you is to try to stick in the Game Shark *4 seconds after*
the black PlayStation screen STARTED to display. If that doesn't work, try
sticking it in when the reflash program is waiting for the reflash from PC.

What are FLASHER.PSX and SYSTEM.CNF?
------------------------------------
These are the 2 files on the CD. I included them in case people wanted the
EXE file separate from the ISO image.

ADDENDUM
--------
The ISO is ONLY for use with Easy-CD Pro 95 by Adaptec.
Tested with version 2.11(020).
(HitLice was used to fix the boot)

How to burn the ISO-file with Easy-CD Pro 95-(English version)

Choose 'CD from an image file', press OK.
Click on 'Image File' tab.

If you follow these exact steps you should have a Action Replay fixer...
