: This is something I know a lot of people have been waiting for for a :
: very long time. After seeing a plea for a program to send SRAM to the :
: DS1 on a website, I decided I should release this. :
: :
: Basically it will load data from 0xb0200000 to the DS1's first slot. :
: This will overwrite whatever data is already there, so be careful, do :
: not blame me for erasing your SRAM save through your own foolishness. ;) :
: :
: This works with both the V64 and the V64jr. Here's how to use it... :
: :
: With the V64jr, at the dos prompt type: :
: :
: elim obs-s2ds.v64 -e SRAM.SAV :
: :
: elim = Obsidian's V64jr Send Tool :
: obs-s2ds.v64 = Obsidian's SRAM to DS1 Tool :
: -e = "Send to 0xb0200000 offset" :
: SRAM.SAV = A SRAM save! :
: :
: With the V64, first load obs-s2ds.v64 to the v64, via parallel cable or :
: cd, it does not matter. Then rename the SRAM save file to *.EMU :
: (ie SRAM.SAV to SRAM.EMU), this allows the v64 to place the save data at :
: the 0xb0200000 offset. The save data can then be loaded via parallel :
: cable with tpc2 or via cd, as long as the file is renamed, it will work. :
: :
: The final step is to turn on the n64, and the SRAM save will be uploaded :
: to your DS1. (It should also work if you have SRAM on your bootcart, :
: however this is untested.) :
: :
: On a final note, an SRAM save is 32Kb, the Z64 SRAM saves are 64Kb, but :
: can still be used with the V64 / V64jr. :
: :
: All bug reports to wt_riker@startrekmail.com, thought I doubt there are :
: any to be found... :
