Thanks for the quick reply. I *haven't* looked at
the MAME source in any detail, but I have to assume
that the system-dependent bits are reasonably well
separated from the rest. I don't have the skills
or the time to do any hacking myself, but I might
look into what a MAME port entails and let you know
what I find out. There are many ports of MAME to
different display and input technologies (X, SVGAlib,
GGI, WinCE, DirectX etc.) so I'm guessing it's
doable.

I'll let you know...
